Before storing a pop-up tent
A simple checklist for cleaning, drying, and packing a professional pop-up tent before storage.
1. Clean visible dirt
Brush away loose dirt and wipe fabric panels with a mild cleaning solution approved by the manufacturer.
2. Dry before packing
Allow the canopy, sidewalls, and frame to dry fully before packing. Storing damp fabric can damage the material.
3. Check the frame
Look for bent sections, missing fasteners, damaged feet, or parts that need replacement before the next job.
4. Record missing parts
Make a note of missing bags, anchors, sidewalls, connectors, or branded panels so spares can be quoted.
